Delta World Charter announced the appointment of Satvir Kalsi as Senior Account Manager – Cargo. In this position, Satvir will lead DWC’s cargo business and will be responsible for sales, quality assurance for customers and suppliers, as well as the overall strategic and operational aspects.
With more than 12 years experience, Satvir is a veteran in the aviation industry. He has held senior roles and delivered outstanding results for his former employers – KAL Aviation and Singapore Airlines Cargo (Australia), besides others.
Delta World Charter has unveiled an Arabic version of its corporate website designed to reach an even wider diversified customer base. The company already has English and Russian language websites. With the new launch, DWC’s Arabic-speaking customers and suppliers can access all its existing website functions from corporate information, news articles, blog to everything else that is live in a user-friendly interface.

The relief flights were operated for National Air Cargo, Dubai. Headquartered in Florida, United States, the company has emerged as a global freight forwarder.
Delta World Charter, in cooperation with its partners MENA Aviation and Iraqi Airways, successfully operated its first 747-200F cargo charter to Iraq on April 22, 2015. The flight was operated on behalfof Delta World Charter (DWC) customer ‘Global Service Solution FZE’. General cargo was delivered to Sulaymaniyah and DGR freight co-loaded at the last minute on the empty leg sector back to Sharjah.
Delta World Charter today announced it has moved into a new office in Al Maktoum International Airport.
The international airport currently has the capacity to handle 600,000 tonnes per annum and operates day and night on an A380-compatible 4.5 km runway. The airport is being built for the future and once completed, it will have the capacity to manage 12 million tonnes of annual cargo capacity and 160 million passengers.
