Dubai - DELTA WORLD CHARTER on 13 May 2015 successfully operated a series of cargo relief flights from Al Maktoum and New Delhi to Kathmandu, to help with one of the most catastrophic earthquake of the century. The relief flights were operated for National Air Cargo, Dubai. Headquartered in Florida, United States, the company has emerged as a global freight forwarder.
Delta World Charter, in cooperation with its partners MENA Aviation and Iraqi Airways, successfully operated its first 747-200F cargo charter to Iraq on April 22, 2015. The flight was operated on behalfof Delta World Charter (DWC) customer ‘Global Service Solution FZE’. General cargo was delivered to Sulaymaniyah and DGR freight co-loaded at the last minute on the empty leg sector back to Sharjah.
Delta World Charter today announced it has moved into a new office in Al Maktoum International Airport.
The international airport currently has the capacity to handle 600,000 tonnes per annum and operates day and night on an A380-compatible 4.5 km runway. The airport is being built for the future and once completed, it will have the capacity to manage 12 million tonnes of annual cargo capacity and 160 million passengers.
Delta World Charter successfully completed the transportation of pregnant cows from Liège, Belgium to Sialkot, Pakistan on 5 March 2015. The project was awarded to DWC on 3rd of March 2015

Mr. Roman Gilmanov has been appointed the Chief Commercial Officer - Cargo and will be driving this new initiative. He brings with him 15 years of professional experience in the air transport industry. His earlier venture, Varty Pacific Inc., a cargo and passenger operator, received tremendous market acceptance, as well as regional and national recognition.
Delta World Charter and Air Partner are proud of the support their aviation capabilities provided in the global fight against Ebola. DWC successfully operated a cargo relief flight on 25 February 2015 from Al Maktoum International Airport to Conakry, Guinea. The flight was delivering essential supplies to the West African country, which continues to be one of the worst affected Ebola areas, with over 2,000 deaths in the country to date. Skyline Air Ltd and Geodis Wilson worked alongside Air Partner and DWC, acting as the handlers and forwarders respectively.
Delta World Charter on 31 January 2015 announced a record-breaking turnover and gross profit month. The company reported January sales amounting to a 6-month total of 2014.
